How do you know if you’re paying too much?
So far this year I have written about several different topics with regards to running your office. From keeping up with technology, exploring some optical character recognition and scanning technology, and then I touched on your relationship with your account manager, questioning whether you are a customer or a client.
Keeping with this theme of looking at your office holistically, are there areas that could benefit from a review? Are you loyal to a provider because they’ve always looked after you? If that’s the case, let me ask the question: If you haven’t tested the market, how do you really know if you’re paying too much?
In some situations these are easier questions to answer than others. Sometimes there hasn’t been a comparable product available. This is where competition and choice are very important. Competition keeps your vendors honest, preventing price gouging questionable price hikes or increases.
“Delta has signed on to become an official Optus Business Centre.”
Today I am proud to announce that Delta has signed on to become an official Optus Business Centre. Offering a range of products and services targeted at businesses, and with business grade service level agreements, you now have another option on the market for your business.
Why Optus? Is it suitable for my business?
Optus has spent big in Australia and has recently committed more than $1 billion dollars to upgrading their network in regional Australia. The Townsville region has benefited significantly over the past two years with 29 towers in the Townsville area upgraded to Optus superfast 4G plus network and is in the process of installing an additional 12 towers in the Townsville area. This is to improve the range of the network, improve in building coverage and provides a faster download speeds.
Optus will also invest a further $6 million to improve services along Flinders Highway with new towers to be built along the stretch of highway between Charters Towers and Cloncurry. Optus Regional Manager, Dave Morrissey recently stated, “Our goal is to take the network conversation off the table and bring telecommunications back to innovation, customer service and value for money.”
Locally Owned and Operated
Unlike the competition in this market, Delta is locally owned and operated. The owners of Delta live in Townsville, employ in Townsville, spend in Townsville, donate in Townsville, participate in Townsville, and love Townsville. Delta wants our city to survive, to thrive, to uh, jive? (Ok I ran out of rhymes).

With the addition of this powerful and supportive partner, Delta is now positioned to truly look after your entire office technology needs. Our skilled staff can review your existing situation and provide recommendations on how you can save money by reducing your overheads and improving your efficiencies.
